Some companies appear to offer great savings if you use their 10-10 access code to “dial around” your current long distance carrier. A carefully chosen dial-around service may save money. But dialing around leads to runaround when restrictions make it difficult to achieve the savings advertised. Review savings claims carefully. Make sure there are no monthly fees or minimum talk time. Ask for a printed rate card with details on what you can expect to pay. Your current company may have a calling plan with lower rates and fewer restrictions than the dial-around offer.
